HD CCTV System for Brecon Town Centre and Dyfed Powys Police
Our Client
For many years the thriving rural market town of Brecon has been monitored by a CCTV system, protecting both visitors to the town centre, and the local community. However, Dyfed Powys Police recently decided to discontinue CCTV coverage, as the existing system had become antiquated, with high maintenance costs, and poor image quality. Faced with the prospect of losing CCTV coverage, Brecon Town Council and Brecon Police issued a tender notification, to replace the antiquated equipment with a modern system.
Notes & Feedback
Commenting on the project, Sales Director for Select Security Specialists, Leon Window, said: “We are enormously proud to have been awarded the contract, following an extensive and competitive tender process. “To be chosen by a Police force, on the grounds of not only price, but also service, the quality of our equipment, and image clarity is the highest accolade.“Since completing the job, the system has already been used to solve a number of high profile incidents. Feedback from the local Police force is that they would not be without it.”
