Nicholls is a family business which has been trading since 1925. Nicholls boosts three successful department stores situated in the beautiful Welsh market towns of Abergavenny, Brecon and Crickhowell. Nicholls offers a variety of products including country and lifestyle clothing, furniture, homeware and a variety of eclectic gifts.

Overview

Nicholls required a modern flexible CCTV system which provided them with high-quality images which were easy to use and offered ID capable images. The System included over 50 Samsung cameras over 3 locations, connected to our Select HD video recorders and networked all of these back to Nicholls HQ.
 
Our main challenge was to install the system whilst the shops were open for trading. A large amount of structured cabling to install, whilst not hindering the day to day business of the stores. Feed information from all 50 cameras remotely via the internet back to Nicholls HQ. Due to Bandwidth strength required Select had to source dedicated leaselines to enable smooth transmission of videos from the cameras back to the monitor.
