Pennant Walters is a renewable energy development company with its head office in Hirwaun, South Wales. In November 2013, Pennant Walters began construction of a wind farm at Myndda Bwllfa. The development, which was completed in 2015, comprises 9 turbines generating 22.5MW, which is the equivalent of the energy required to supply 15,000 homes.

In November 2013, Pennant Walters began construction of a wind farm at Myndda Bwllfa. The development, which was completed in 2015, comprises 9 turbines generating 22.5MW, which is the equivalent of the energy required to supply 15,000 homes. Following a competitive tender process, Select was awarded the contract to take on the maintenance and monitoring of the wind farm’s CCTV system.
 
The comprehensive system was already in place, so the team at Select worked with Pennant Walters to inspect all equipment, establish maintenance schedules, and take over monitoring duties.
